Federal Stance 14mm Female Bolt Cassette Hub with Guards Following on from the success of the Federal freecoaster they felt the time was right to introduce their own cassette hub. The new Federal cassette hub is available as a male 14mm option or as a female axle version that uses a hollow 17mm axle and 14mm bolts that are much stronger than the regular 14mm axle. Both hubs have been designed so that all the hardware is interchangeable, so you can convert a female hub to a Male and vice versa simply by swapping the axles.
